Maybe New "IMM" this weekend...

I have gotten another book to start reviewing. I realized now that I have said "I'm sorry" a lot on this blog. I have not been extremely active (in reviews and stuff) in quite a few years. But I will try to get a "In My Mailbox" vlog up this weekend (if plausible). I will have two books I received (if not more) and also some books I picked up for my baby boy. I have started reading The People of Forever Are Not Afraid and it is interesting and quite different than other books I have read. That is all I can say. Hope to see you this weekend!

Extremely Long Hiatus

Things have changed quite a bit since my last time on here. I now have a son, am almost done with my associate's degree, and haven't reviewed a book in what feels like forever.

I have one book waiting to be reviewed currently. The People of Forever Are Not Afraid by Shani Boianjiu. I will hopefully be able to post a review when this summer semester is over (and when my son will let me).

Sorry for the Delay!

I am sorry for all you faithful followers out there! I am now back for as long as I can. I have been busy with school, work, and not having technology agree with me (which means, I didn't know my password here).

But, I am back, with full awareness! I have a couple for books that will be up and reviewed, including Whip It by Shauna Cross and I have ordered Alice's Adventures in Wonderland by Louis Carroll with wonderful new gothic illustrations by Camille Rose Garcia. So please do keep checking in and seeing what's new, which may be my first contest... You never know, you'll have to come in and check!

Im in hastings right now. I see a lot of fantasy/scifi books in the teen section but i see no melissa walker or i wanna be your joey ramone! No offense to those books. But please reprensent all areas of the aspect. And please dont put too many copies if no one buys it. No offense but i want more copies of my books. They might be the popular ones if there is no copy so i guess i cant complain if the store doesnt order the right amount.

Sorry Guys, Long Summer

I had to work all summer and did not have access to internet on my computer. I did not realize that I had 33 followers (publically) and even had people email to advertise them on my page. I feel so proud! If I had not responded to emails that you have sent to my gmail account, I will respond as soon as I can. I will try to get more reviews up as soon as I can. I hope to get active again!

I'm Sorry, Guys

I know I haven't been on for almost a month now. It's in the end of the semester so I have had a lot of homework to do. I just wanted to let you guys know what's going on. I am so sorry I never warned anybody before.

I hope to regularly post again. I am sorry for letting all of you guys down.

In my Mailbox (6)

This is the books from March 28-April 3, 2009. I probably will not get books tomorrow, so I'm uploading everything today.

Here are the books listed:

Guitar Girl by Sarra Manning (from paperbackswap)

Perfect Chemistry by Simone Elkeles (from Elizabeth Scott's countdown. It was Day 3 or Day 2 from before her book Something, Maybe. It even came with a bookmarker/postcard)

Eyes Like Stars by Lisa Mantchev (ARC from Lisa Mantchev from a contest on Not-So-Closet-Geeks--forget it didn't have the pretty final cover)

Also Shown:

Necklace that came with Sophomore Switch last week and the Royal Mail labels that the package came with.

So what did you guys get in your mailbox this week?

Thinkin' About Thursday - April 2

Zombie Queen of Newbury High by Amanda Ashby
Summary from Amazon:

Quiet, unpopular, non-cheerleading Mia is blissfully happy. She is dating super hot football god Rob, and he actually likes her and asked her to prom! Enter Samantha—cheerleading goddess and miss popularity— who starts making a move for Rob. With prom in a few days, Mia needs to act fast. So she turns to her best friend, Candice, and decides to do a love spell on Rob. Unfortunately, she ends up inflicting a zombie virus onto her whole class, making herself their leader! At first she is flattered that everyone is treating her like a queen. But then zombie hunter hottie Chase explains they are actually fattening her up, because in a few days, Mia will be the first course in their new diet. She’s sure she and Chase can figure something out, but she suggests that no one wear white to prom, because things could get very messy.

I've wanted this one since her blog party. I found it once, but unfortunately, I could not afford it then. Sad, sad day. This book was published last month, I believe.

This book was published on March 5, 2009.
